Heaven Taylor-Wynn is an innovative multimedia storyteller and determined truth seeker who aims to find the intersection between entertainment and social issues by telling circular, character-centered stories. Heaven’s loyalty to her roots drives her to cultivate dialogue and amplify voices of color.
As an upcoming graduate of the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications, she's honed her skills to write, shoot and edit on a daily deadline. Be it a news package, finely-combed fact-check or radio broadcast, she always begins with the end in mind.
She doesn't take "no" for an answer, but as a redirect. Her intrepid reporting has brought her success in tracking down inaccessible sources for nuanced fact-checks. She interned at PolitiFact as an Emma Bowen Foundation Fellow where she wrote fact-checks and developed a media literacy platform for youth. Her performance in the program earned her an invitation to serve as an ambassador for the highly-selective internship organization.
Heaven is sharpening her skills as an entertainment anchor for WUFT's First at Five, Campus Correspondent for CheddarU, Associate Producer for WCJB TV 20 and writer for Synergy, a publication through the Gainesville Black Professionals.
